Police Alert – Seamans Avenue
Police are asking a man and a woman to come forward after a concerned parent contacted officers to say someone had been taking photographs of her daughter and other children. The man and woman were seen in a small silver car parked in Seaman Avenue around 7pm yesterday, Monday 24 August, and appeared to be taking photographs of children there. Police attended the area but the car had gone. The man is described as white, in his late 30s to 40s, bald but with hair around the back, with a moustache and wearing a light coloured waistcoat, jeans and glasses. The woman is described as white, in her 30s and wearing blue jeans, a black jumper and a brown hat. She had a brown shoulder bag. There may be an innocent explanation for the incident and police are asking the couple to come forward.
