Visit to the Greene King Brewery
I’m organising a trip to the Greene King Brewery in the next couple of months. I’m thinking along the lines of tour, buffet and beers with a coach to take us there and back.
I want to get numbers first before approaching the Brewery and Bus company.

Happy Christmas and New Year from the BFRA committee!
Our festive weather arrived a little too early:
Free BFRA Children’s Halloween Disco (open to all in Saxmundham).
Saturday 31st October 5pm until 7pm at Saxmundham Primary School. Ages 13 and under only please. Free Entry.
Fed up with the Halloween door knocking with the annual Trick or Treat…then why not bring your children to the School on the evening of Halloween for a Disco. We are delighted to run this very successful event for the second year after such a great response last year. Our Treasurer is not at all happy as we have decided to run this free of charge (again!).
To make the event fun we would like, if possible for the children to be in fancy dress with the best (or worst!) winning prizes. Sweets and drinks will also be on sale at very reasonable prices.
Just turn up at the school hall with your parent or guardian please.
Brook Farm Residents Association Music Night
Brook Farm Residents Association, are yet again proud to support and sponsor a live band music night on behalf of Saxmundham Music and Arts Festival. The music night will run on Saturday 31st October 2009 in The Market Hall with music from live band ‘The Ed Zachary Band’ www.theedzacharyband.co.uk
This is a highly experienced band who specialise in providing professional quality music complete with superb sound and lighting. They pride themselves on a wide range of music from the 60’s to present day.
The band includes the music of The Jam, The Killers, The Who, Kinks, Elvis, Beatles, Snow Patrol and many many more songs. You can listen to a selection of songs from their website as a taster for the night. Doors open at 8pm and entry will be on a first come first served basis. The event will be extremely popular and numbers are restricted, so don’t be late. We guarantee this to be a great night and a sell out. Tickets will cost £3 from the organisers listed below. There should also be tickets on the door. A fully licensed bar will operate within the Market Hall with lager, Adnams real ale, wines spirits and mixers at very competitive prices.
Please note that this an adults only evening.
A raffle will be held and proceeds to Meadowbrook Children’s Centre, Saxmundham.
