Anti Social behaviour at Carlton Park
Approximately 35 teenagers between the ages of 14 – 17 assembled at Carlton Park on the evening of 2nd July. In some cases the kids were being sick as they were so inebriated and were upsetting walkers and other legitimate users of the park.
They were approached by two local residents and were given 15 minutes to clear up the mess of bottles and boxes which were strewn over the field. After the 15 minutes the two residents returned to find that nothing had changed and therefore the Police were called. The Police duly arrived and detained many of the offenders. This sort of behaviour should not be tolerated and residents are reminded to call 999 if they experience similar issues.
